Frostchem Global refrigerant reclaim division is established to help the HVAC service industry to fulfil the increasing demand for refrigerant management solutions. Since the late seventies, the effects of CFC and HCFC on the environment have been well documented.

FCG has been working with companies like Frostberg International LLC USA and ICI Imperial Chemical Company U.K. These companies then developed environmentally friendly refrigerant gas Frostberg R134a to replace R12, which has high ozone-depleting potential. Since the Montreal protocol, the Frostberg brand has been one of the pioneers in this field and has developed a range of alternative products to replace the traditionally high ODB and GWP gases. Working with Frostberg International. FCG developed a refrigerant reclaim division to ensure that refrigerants supplied would not be vented but recovered to the ARI recommended levels.
